On May 16, 2021, Garden in the Pines had the pleasure of creating a dreamy boho floral-scape for a beautiful bride-to-be. Hotel LBI in NJ hosted this gorgeous boho beach bridal shower event in their Kitchen Suite. All of the beachy decor within the hotel blended beautifully with our boho beach florals.

We used about a hundred feet of Elangus vine, a couple of bunches of eucalyptus, and a couple of bunches of Italian Ruscus to create this floral backdrop. Other focal flowers within the pieces included double white tulips, white ranunculus, and white anemones. We also used an abundance of textural filler to create the boho beach theme including thistle, astilbe, green trick, eucalyptus, wax flower, baby’s breath, and queen anne’s lace.

We created simple, yet beautiful, mason jar centerpieces, a floral crown, and we utilized our moon arch (for more information about renting our moon arch structure, please contact us) to create a half balloon – half greenery backdrop for photos and gifts.

We designed these centerpieces within 32-ounce mason jars from Michael’s Craft Store. Each centerpiece contained thistle, stock, white double tulips, ranunculus, and anemones as focal flowers. We also used a lot of filler to create a very textural feel for boho beachy designs.

Floral crowns are such a simple way to dress up an occasion. This floral crown was created with the boho/ beachy theme in mind so that it blended well with the decor within the event and the outfit that the Bride would be wearing.

This floral arch was a fun design as it incorporated balloons and greenery. The balloons were blown up by one of the bridesmaids to be various sizes and assembled onto a plastic strip so that the colors looked as random as possible. We attached the greenery first so that it blended well with the balloons and didn’t pop the balloons as it was assembled. The balloons were attached last. Then, any holes were filled with eucalyptus to give the whole arch a blended and cohesive look.

Everyone was so happy with how it turned out and it definitely was a fun piece for guests to take photos.

All of the decor blended beautifully with the boho beach theme and definitely reflected the bride’s personality well. We are so happy with the way that everything turned out and hope to flower at Hotel LBI again soon for future events.
