The gorgeous and elegant Tavistock Country Club in Haddonfield, NJ, combined with Yari & Sean’s choice of white and blush wedding florals, made a truly spectacular event. Alyssa had the pleasure of working with the couple to create their perfect personal flowers. Garden in the Pines created the bridal bouquet, bridesmaid bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages. Choosing to get married in March, Yari & Sean chose the perfect time of year for a blush and white color palette. The cherry blossoms outside were in full bloom!
One challenging part of this project was that this couple booked us in January, so we only had two months to nail down their vision and deliver their dream florals. Further, the floral market is still dragging with shortages everywhere, and wintertime means it’s difficult to get certain blooms. Thankfully, we could source blooms within the couple’s desired color palette, complementing their unique style and telling their love story.

Is there anything more elegant and romantic than a bridal bouquet full of peonies and roses encased in a bountiful spray of eucalyptus? We don’t think so. Our bride needed to stand out against the cherry blossoms, brick buildings, and her bridesmaid’s blush dresses and flowers. As a solution, we decided to add a nice bright green punch to her bouquet.
The focal flowers were white and blush roses and peonies accented by White Lady Spray Roses. For filler, we used Silver Dollar Eucalyptus and Gunni Eucalyptus. The eucalyptus really helped to emphasize the cascading look the bride envisioned. We also finished it with some textural accents and a white ribbon tied around the stems!
Yari really wanted her bridesmaids to have similar flowers and color palettes to her own bouquet. We created organic hand-tied smaller versions. The bridesmaids carried white and blush rose and eucalyptus bouquets wrapped in a white ribbon. To top it off, we left the stems exposed to emphasize that garden-fresh look.
For Sean, we stuck with the white and green color palette to create his boutonniere. One voluminous white rose was featured and tied with some eucalyptus and textural accents.
As for the groomsmen, we created boutonnieres with blush roses instead of white but surrounded them with similar eucalyptus and textural accents. When it came to the fathers, we used the White Lady Spray roses with Gunni eucalyptus and textural accents. The mothers were given white wristlet corsages to match with White Lady Spray roses and mixed eucalyptus.
