When we think classic wedding, we think green white and gold wedding. Eric and Elizabeth felt the same, and they were ecstatic to throw the ultimate wedding bash at the Atlantic City Country Club in NJ. We were ecstatic, too, because they asked us to be a part of it!
Not only did we get to flower their wedding, but we also got to provide some pretty killer installations courtesy of the handy Larry Morton. If you’re looking for some amazing green white and gold wedding inspo for your own special day, keep reading!
Creating a dynamic and unique monochromatic floral arrangment takes some concentration and creativity, but we love a challenge! Elizabeth’s all white bridal bouqet came out gorgeous due to the mix of size and texture in the blooms. We also added some really beautiful and interesting textural greenery for lots of movement and volume.
The bouquet was hand-tied and finished with a beautiful gold ribbon. It was photographed beautifully, don’t you think??
To continue the white floral and greenery look with the personal flowers, we put together some smaller hand-tied bridesmaid bouquets with similar flowers and textural elements. The flower girl also got a unique basket of her own blooms. None of them out-performed the bride’s, of course, but stunning nonetheless!
For the men, we created a white spray rose boutonniere for the groom and some ranunculus boutonnieres for the groomsmen and other men of honor in attendance. The mothers, of course, also got their own white ranunculus and eucalyptus corsages to wear.
At GITP, we find every challenge fun. For Eric and Elizabeth’s wedding ceremony at Our Lady of Sorrows, we needed gold metal stands for the arrangements to sit on. Larry – being a very handy addition to our team – custom-made gold stands for the ceremony arrangements by welding and fabricating materials in our shop! We also provided some beautiful glass urns for either side of the altar.
When it came to the venue, we were all about bringing that textural interest to the tables as well. Instead of creating identical, traditional centerpieces, we curated some beautiful tablescapes with different-sized candles, bud vases, and centerpieces. The gold metal accents paired perfectly with the warm glow of the flames, lighting up the whole room!
Hands down, though, our favorite part was the huge statement piece we were able to create for Eric and Elizabeth’s sweetheart table. Look at the stunning white blooms and dynamic greenery that is just spilling over their table onto the floor and encasing their light-up initials!
